Got A He-Man And A Camera? You Can Make A Comic Cover
As part of the upcoming launch of DC Comics series He-Man: The Eternity War this December, Mattel is sponsoring the He-Man: The Photography War – Comic Cover Contest.
If you have a camera and some He-Man toys, you just put together a comic cover worthy photo and you can win the right to have the photo used as a cover along with a year's subscription to the Masters of the Universe Classics collector toy line.
3 runners-up will also win a subscription to the comic series and a selection of Masters of the Universe Classics toys.
Mattel is looking for an epic piece of Masters of the Universe toy photography that can do justice to the concept of He-Man: The Eternity War – a Ragnarok-ish, Crisis on Infinite Earths-esque war to end all wars on Eternia. The photography should be inspired by the storyline of He-Man: The Eternity War, in which He-Man will lead the forces of good—She-Ra, Man-at-Arms, Battle Cat, Swiftwind, Teela, and Orko, with an army of Snakemen backing them up (yes, you read that last part right). They will be up against Hordak, Skeletor, King Hssss, Beastman, Trapjaw, and Evil-lyn. It's an all-out battle royale for control of Castle Grayskull and the fate of the universe!
The contest begins 9/3 and entries are due by Monday 9/22. All submissions that are within contest guidelines will be featured on the official He-Man Facebook and Instagram pages. Mattel encourages entrants and fans to rally around the hashtag #MOTUCoverContest on social media.
