Do House Democrats Now Have Captain America Powers? Next Week's Miles Morales Spider-Man #3 (Preview)
When Democrats won back the House of Representatives in the midterm elections last Fall, it represented a major shift in the status quo for the President Donald Trump administration. You might even say the Trump administration was shaken to its foundations and would never be the same again, if you wanted to use comic book super-mega-crossover event terminology.
In addition to making it more difficult for Republicans to push through their legislative agenda, the rise to power of Nancy Pelosi gave Democrats in the house the power of subpoena, which could make life difficult for the president. But have House Democrats actually gained even more power than that?
In next week's issue of Miles Morales Spider-Man, Captain America let slip that Congress can even order Captain America around!
And sure, you might say, how do you know it's a Democratic Congresswoman that asked Cap to look into this? Well, first of all, because she's a Congresswoman. And secondly, she cares about missing children.
