It Looks Like Batgirl Will Be Guest-Starring in Tom King's Batman Soon
Batman writer Tom King is a former C.I.A. spy, so it's reasonable to assume he's well-versed in the art of propaganda and foreign coups, and King puts one of those talents to good use regularly in promoting his upcoming comics. King often posts small teases from the interior art of upcoming Batman comics on Twitter, such as this one King posted today featuring Batgirl, with art by Mikel Janin and Jordie Bellaire.
Janin is listed as the artist on the next four issues of Batman, so Batgirl's appearance will probably happen in one of those, as Batman battles his alternate-universe father for the trademark rights to the Batman name. After that, Tony S. Daniel takes over for the City of Bane storyline beginning in Batman #75.
So what do you think? Are you excited for Barbara to guest-star in Batman, or should we be that King will kill her off (or have Batman fantasize about her dying) as part of the ongoing theme of his comics work? Let us know in the comments.
The next issue of Batman hits stores next week.
Batman #71

"The Fall and the Fallen" continues! Will it be father and son working together, or tearing each other apart? When it comes to the Waynes, expect a little of both. In the quest to get Bruce Wayne to hang up the cape and cowl, Thomas Wayne is going to have to use a little tough love. Only, not all the muscle behind it will be his own.
