Launch Of PM Buchan And Martin Simmonds' Heretics, The Night Before Thought Bubble

We hopped and skipped from the launch of The Wicked + The Divine exhibition ten minutes up the road in a crisp Leeds night, to the launch of another exhibition, for the new comic by PM Buchan and Martin Simmonds, Heretics out from 44Flood next year.

We found them up a creepy set of stairs in a desolate wasteland… or Lady Beck Studios, Unit 22, 64-76 Mabgate as they prefer the location to be described.

It was a little quieter than the previous show, but that did give PM Buchan the chance to give me a personal tour. Pages and covers from the comic, illustrations inspired by it, live artists doing their take on the religious environmental topics, and a free preview copy of the comic.

Which looks really damn good.

The exhibition runs through Thought Bubble. If you are here, you should pop along. Or wait till the comic comes out…
