Manga Vs Models At MCM London Expo

A couple of years ago, the MCM London Expo was held at the Excel Convention Centre at the same time as a Mission Of Peace And Light, attempting to unite the divisions caused by the Sunni and Shi'ite Islamic denominations. Which led to some strange juxtapositions, a huddle of Imams discussing points of theology as short skirted Japanese-styled schoolgirls walked past, and police investigating a stabbing between two arguing scholars, while cosplayers with swords bigger than them passed by.

But today saw an equally strange juxtaposition, as the MCM London Expo was held nest door to Britain And Ireland's Next Top Model. Which led to storage platform sights with some young women clutching bags full of makeup samples and others clutching bags full of tails, claws and fishnet stockingss.

Both involve conjuring up fake looks, fake bodies, fake identities. just one uses felt, fur and fibreglass, the other uses, creams, cosmetics and the scalpel.

How long until Britain And Ireland's Next Top Cosplayer then?
