Michael Avon Oeming Draws Thor For Marvel Quickdraw

Marvel has been doing a lot of weird things with the Marvel Quickdraw videos of late. Most of the time their just a video showing someone inking or drawing a cover, etc, with no real voice over to go with it. Then a few times it was nothing to do with the comics, but rather an object like a Ford car with a hero. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that their latest Quickdraw focused on Powers co-creator and all around nice guy Michael Avon Oeming and a commission sketch he was working on for Thor. Oeming talks about the process, how much of the piece is done by hand and how much on the computer and the tools he uses. He also comments about chasing the newest and greatest tools.

And while we are posting this about Oeming, we at BC would like to wish a happy birthday to his wife and fellow artist Taki Soma.
