Another New Mutants Casualty in The War Of The Realms? (X-Men #3 Spoiler)

It's not that healthy to be a New Mutant in the Marvel Universe right now. With the upcoming movie exhibiting all sort of problems, the ending of the Fox Marvel movies looks even more of a damp squib than Dark Phoenix was – which everyone seems to think was the final planned Fox Marvel movie.

We've seen a bunch of New Mutants techno-organicked of late. Recently in Uncanny X-Men, we saw the death of Rahne Sinclair, Wolfsbane, one of the original New Mutants.

Today, we see Valkyrie fighting alongside the rest of the X-Men in War Of The Realms: X-Men #3. Which is thematically suitable. But it's not her who faces the final curtain to Valhalla. Because there are other original New Mutants at play as well. Illyana, Sunspot and the not-yet-dead-Wolfsbane.

Let's fins out, Sunspot. What will smashing ther rock do to Illyana?

Nothing to Illyana it seems…

…but everything to him.

And that kind of seals the deal.

It may be a little harder to come back than the last time…

…when it was all a fakeout.

Will get he get a second funeral, or will this one count for both times?
