NYCC: Andy Diggle To Write Dynamite Crime ComicAndy Diggle, editor of 2000AD, writer for Daredevil, Hellblazer, Thunderbolts, Green Arrow, Six Guns and co-creator of The Losers, is going to have quite the time this week.

Not only is there a character named after him in the new Arrow TV show, but he's coming to NYCC to sign all those copies of Doctor Who #1 out last week, on Thursday DC will announce he is the new writer of Action Comics (with Tony S Daniel on art) and then Dynamite will announce his new book for them, part of their new crime line spearheaded by Garth Ennis' Red Team.

It's good to be the Diggle.

"It's not every day that a publisher offers you the chance to create a whole new world from scratch, and I'm having fun cooking up something dark, funny, violent and twisted for Dynamite," says writer Andy Diggle. "Hard-hitting genre fiction with a twist, for readers who don't like having their intelligence insulted. The kind of comic I want to read myself. So there's really just one question – are you in or are you out?"
