NYCC Debut: Gutter Magic 1 Ashcan
Gutter Magic #1 from Rich Douek, Brett Barkley and Donna Gregory, a what-if-wizards-won-World-War-II debuts this week at New York Comic Con in the form of an ashcan, available at the Comix Tribe booth (2380), and Douek will be signing copies on Friday from 2:30-4:00, where I'll be signing copies of the ashcan, and the Oxymoron 2012 Anthology.
Or, if you're at the show, tweet to @rdouek and he will find you to give you a copy. Here's what other people say about it…
"Gutter Magic is a fantasy-fueled caper that mixes gun-slinging and spell-slinging. Fun stuff!" – Jim Zub (Skullkickers, Street Fighter Legends)
"Weird and surprising, which is what this and are two of my favorite things in comics. And fun, which is the part that really matters. There's not a lot of urban fantasy steampunk in comics, and Gutter Magic makes a good argument that we've been missing out." -Justin Jordan (Luther Strode, Team 7)
"Really entertaining stuff!" – Joe Eisma (Morning Glories, Higher Earth)
