Possibly Your Last Chance To Get Intimate With Neil Gaiman
I remember when Neil Gaiman did signings with a line still in double digits. When I went to a book reading for Neverwhere and could just turn up on the day.
Doesn't happen anymore. Those kind of semi-intimate occasions where you can see the whites of Neil's eyes (now that he's dropped the sunglasses act) are long gone.
Apart from on June 5th where, in conversation with Chip Kidd, he will be talking at the launch of a new book based on his 2012 commencement address at the University of the Arts in Pennsylvania, to an audience of merely 150.
Kidd designed the book, Make Good Art, and the $25 tickets will include a copy of the book (which even on Amazon is $10), with a signing to follow.
They will discuss their own artistic processes and pass along advice for how to Make Good Art. It's part of the Boston Book Festival, and there are still about half the tickets remaining. You want one? Run.
