Reality Envy in Secret Warps: Soldier Supreme Annual #1 (Preview)
Ah, the Infinity Warps. Such a stupid concept, springing out of such a stupid super-mega-crossover event. And yet, we just can't seem to quit those lovable Warps. Truly, it's a reflection of duality of life as a comic book fan. The Infinity Warps are back for Secret Warps, a Warperific Summer annual event kicking off in this week's Secret Warps: Soldier Supreme Annual #1. And in this preview, we find Soldier Supreme and… uh… we're gonna say… Iron Hammer?… drinking away their troubles.
The trouble: the Warps are aware of their predicament as leftovers, castoffs from a super-mega-crossover event that was, like, two or three super-mega-crossover events ago, which is like a billion years in comic book time.
And yet, despite the fact that there's no reason for these Warps to continue to exist, literally no reason… nobody was asking for this… they persevere.
You gotta love a Warp. No, not like that, you sicko. In any case, you'll get your chance when Secret Warps: Soldier Supreme Annual #1 hits stores on Wednesday.
