A Comic Show – Fury's Original Sin Bombshells!
Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida, writes:
Hey Fandom, I'm back with a stack of New Comics Now! First I talk about the end of our Free Comic Book May and I mention our bar expansion Indiegogo, then it's all Marvel, DC, and Image comics!
Original Sin #3 was pretty intense, the last few pages were just crazy. I'm not getting into it, but there's a reason why Jason Aaron was so horrifically graphic in the end of the issue. Marvel had several great paced middle of the arc issues like Miles Morales #2, Moon Knight #4, and Cyclops #2.
Over at DC, Futures End #5's end brings in one of my top ten favorite guys who hasn't been seen in a couple years. Batman Eternal has a guest star with surprising family ties. Kevin Smith's Batman '66/Green Hornet #1 was nostalgic fun. And Aw yeah, it's back to the tree house for more all-ages awesome with Tiny Titans #1!
Boom's Big Trouble in Little China #1 is written by John Carpenter and Eric Powell continues from the movie. Image's Nailbiter #2 (and the 2nd print of #1) is out, and a perfectly executed serial killer detective mystery! Really, this could be the second season of True Detective!
Oh, and I forgot to mention my favorite new book, Afterlife With Archie, is out in a graphic novel collection this week! Check it out, you'll thank me.
