I kind of hope this isn't true (Although… huh. Actually, looking at the timeline of what we know is in the film, it probably IS true. Ah well). We're 5-going-on-6 major movies in now over the past decade or so, and there's still plenty of classic Amazing Spider-Man comic book villains they could be resurrecting anew for film (though of course, Electro is in this one, so that's good). Director John Krokidas is at Sundance to premiere his Daniel Radcliffe-starring Alan Ginsberg biopic Kill Your Darlings. Rather improbably, this screening seems to have provided a venue for the blowing of a significant Amazing Spider-Man sequel secret.
