Thursday Trending Topics: Big Stacks of DC
Wow, is it Friday morning already? Today's most-read post is about DC trades and GNs: DC Comics are looking to reduced their stock of the following books by offering them to retailers at a massive discount. What that means is that in a few weeks, these books will be plentiful at comic books stores. And then… not so much. They will go out of print, or move to a different format. Basically, if you want these books… around about nowish would be a good time to pick them up. Maybe I should pick up that Best of the Spirit collection. I'm a huge vintage comics fan, but there's plenty of Spirit I haven't read.

HD UPDATE: Full Trailer For The New Judge Dredd Movie
This full trailer for the Judge Dredd movie, Dredd, was premiered on G4 and, of course, it found its way online without much trouble. There's an awful lot of interesting shots here, but I was left wishing that I could see it in 3D.
First Trailer For Taken 2 Shows Off That Very Particular Set Of Skills
Liam Neeson is back in head popping mode for Taken 2. This first trailer reprises many of the memorable elements of the first film, including that amusing telephone moment in which he sombrely spells out how the crap is about to hit the fan. The first time it sent shivers down my spine. This time? Well, the element of surprise is gone.
This promo is light on ancillary characters but heavy with halfshells. And how about the voice over that, frankly, constitutes most of the info presented? That thing weighs a ton.
