Full Length Trailer For Showtime's Penny Dreadful

It kind of fees like Showtime has been showing us bits and pieces of this trailer for months now, and it's kind of baffling that this new, full length trailer for Penny Dreadful doesn't really tell us anything that we don't already know about the project.

How about a little exposition? Maybe something to tie all these images together? Usually there's too much of that in trailers but in this case I feel like there's not enough. So here we have an even longer string of brief montages of creepy imagery of demonic possessions, vampires, werewolves, other creepy supernatural things and blood, lots and lots of blood.

At least Eva Green is always watchable and seems right in her element here. Penny Dreadful, about such classic monsters as Dracula, Dorian Gray and Frankenstein's Monster, will premiere on May 11th on Showtime.
