Halo-8 Pick Up Grant Morrison Documentary. And I Think I Might Be In It.
Halo-8 Entertainment have announced they've bought the distribution rights to the Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods documentary about the man and his work, which has been previewing at conventions recently. Which will include a limited run in cinemas after the premiere at the New York Comic Con this October.
Directed by Patrick Meaney, produced by Amber Yoder, and shot by Jordan Rennert, the chaps popped by Chez Johnston in Kingston Vale, London, earlier this year to record a few moments of stories I've heard about Grant Morrison. Basically I told the soiled trousers story. But I also emphasised the importance of the man's work to the medium and beyond.
I wonder which bit they'll use.
As well as the great man, they also interview friends and collaborators Warren Ellis, Geoff Johns, Douglas Rushkoff, Frank Quitely, Dan DiDio, Frazer Irving, Phil Jimenez, Cameron Stewart, Jill Thompson and Mark Waid.
Hell with that lot, I probably won't even make it in.
