Maxx's Super Awesome Comic Review Show – Thor, Bitch Planet, Multiversity, Casanova, They're Not Like Us, The Dying & the Dead, And More!
Maxx's Super Awesome Comic Review Show returns to Bleeding Cool, recorded at the one and only Astro-Zombies Comic Shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, hosted by Maxx MacLennan.
They say:
Bringing you discussions of all the new exciting books in comicdom.
We have Albuquerque's own Marya Jones in the studio to join us in reviewing this week's books- including an in depth critique of Bitch Planet #2 in what is sure to be a newly recurring segment that we titled "Bitch Please". We're keeping an eye on that book, for better, and for worse. This week's top 5 was SO close to being entirely populated by Image titles, but the newest Multiversity offering was too impressive not to rank.
Books featured in this episode for the week of 1/28/15:
Marvel Comics: Thor #4
Image Comics: Bitch Planet #2
DC Comics: The Multiversity Guidebook #1
Image Comics: Casanova: Acedia #1
Image Comics: They're Not Like Us #2
Image Comics: The Dying & the Dead #1
Image Comics: Sex Criminals #10
Also discussed: Vertigo Quarterly Black, Alex + Ada, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, Nowhere Men, Secret
