Ron Perazza Leaves ComiXology
Yesterday, Bleeding Cool learned that Ron Perazza, VP -General Manager Of Publisher and Creator Services at ComiXology had left the company.
Perazza declined to comment but last night while I was in the air, Chip Mosher, the VP Marketing, PR and Business Development for ComiXology confirmed the situation, telling me "Ron Perazza no longer works for comiXology. The break was mutual and amicable. Ron will be an asset to any company he joins."
Perazza joined the dominant digital comic book distributor in January last year, where he moved from heading up DC's digital comics strategy. At the time, John Roberts, CTO and co-founder of comiXology, was quoted as saying "There are only a handful of people in the comic book industry that have the depth and breadth of knowledge and experience that Ron does, in taking comic books from the print to the digital world. Ron will be instrumental in the creation of a stellar set of next generation tools for our current and future publishing partners. We are confident that Ron will help comiXology take comics to the next level."
