DC Comics To Cancel OMAC, Men Of War, Mister Terrific, Hawk And Dove, Blackhawks and Static Shock

As part of the six new May  books being announced today, DC Comics has also announced six cancellations, all ending on their eighth issues. Men Of War, Mister Terrific, O.M.A.C., Hawk And Dove, Blackhawks and Static Shock.

When George Perez And Kevin Maguire Draw Power Girl – Two Ongoing Books For Earth Two In The DC New New 52 

What we didn't know until today was that it will be accompanied by Worlds Finest, starring Huntress and Power Girl, both from Earth Two, both stranded in our world, following on from the Huntress mini-series by Paul Levitz and Marcus To.

New Batman Incorporated Comic From Morrison And Burnham As Part Of The New New 52

Well, the other shoe has dropped, as DC have today announced a new Batman Incorporated series from Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham (art above), continuing the crime family story, and the Bruce Wayne franchise across the world. The revelation in the last issue that the identity of the head of Leviathan is Talia al Ghul, ex of Batman and mother of Robin. And the revelation that Batman is as tied into this crime family as anyone.

When the Avatar sequels were first announced, I believe that we were told to expect them in 2013 and 2014. Well, time keeps on slipping (slipping, slipping) into the future. According to Landau this morning, the first sequel is "four years away."
