Sunday Runaround – Stéwie The Horned God

MarvelVsDCWatch: Here's Tom Brevoort's guess for the DC 52 titles earlier this week, using the form he says everyone at Marvel was using. And the version Bleeding Cool saw earlier this week, attributed to a Manhattan store…

UnderwearWatch: The Daily Telegraph pitches in;

We cannot help feeling rather disappointed, therefore that DC Comics, the character's owners, have decided not just to rebrand the character (doubtless to make him "funkier", "edgier" and "more relevant") but to place the pants on the inside. Indeed, given that the hero still wears a cape, can leap tall buildings, block bullets and generally defy the laws of physics, this gesture towards normality seems token at best.

They were Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, and they had come out from their own respective "Sunnydales" to bid the finale Volume of Season Eight adieu with two of their favorite heroes.

Alan Moore at Cheltenham : Pharyngula

"Moore has an affinity for a 2nd century oracular sock puppet, but he doesn't worship it. He believes in magic, but he doesn't believe in the supernatural. He also doesn't like religion. I agreed with almost everything he said 100% (although he did speculate a bit about the absence of explanation for memory, which he thought was a mystery because there are no changes in the structure of the brain that last for more than a few weeks, which is total bullshit, and he wondered if the purpose of junk DNA was to store memories, which is bullshit on fire. But, OK, the rest of the talk was mostly fun.)"
