Studio Ghibli's Next Film Is When Marnie Was There

Studio Ghibli has announced their next film to be released in 2014, according to Anime News Network, and it'll be an adaptation of English children's novel When Marnie Was There.

Hiromasa Yonebayashi, who last did The Secret Life of Arrietty in 2010, will direct the film, which is about two little girls becoming friends, only one of them is very, very mysterious and not all she seems. Creepy ghost children alert!

But judging by the above art, it'll be quite lovely, as usual.
