The SML Podcast – Talking Games With A Little Bit Of Mayhem Festival From Sleeping Dogs To Evolve, Destiny, And More
By Joe Cammisa
[audio:http://joecam.net/SML/SML-e078.mp3]Monday night is here and it's time for The SML Podcast Episode 78: Mayhem in the Family here on Bleeding Cool!
For the first time ever, the podcast is "staying in the family" as we welcome my little sister and aspiring photographer, Mary Bove, to the show!
Since they were both in attendance, Kris and Mary both talk about their experiences at the Rockstar Mayhem Festival for a bit until we get into our usual groove of video games and stupidity.
Among the gaming subjects this week are the breaking news of the Sleeping Dogs re-release, Evolve's delay, Mario Kart DLC and virtual console release, Destiny having preorders cancelled, and plenty more news. We actually had a list of stuff to talk about! WE PREPARED!
Of course we also talked about games we've been playing as Kris regales us with his experiences with Unturned, I talk about Sacred 3 and The Swapper, and Mary talk about Animal Crossing stories with our mom playing at night.
Check out the mp3 of the show here or check out the YouTube version!
If that doesn't work for you, you can check us out on iTunes and subscribe to us and get all of the episodes a few days early!
We wrap up the show this week with some Zelda songs in honor of the recent Hyrule Warriors Nintendo Direct event. A nice variety of artists including a rare live performance from The Smash Brothers from MAGFest 3!
Mega Beardo – Labyrinths of Fragmented Wisdom
The OneUps – I Do it For the Faeries
Level 99 & prophetik – Threshold of a Dream
The Smash Brothers – Zelda II Medley (Live at MAGFest 3)
Kroth – Confession
Thanks for checking us out and we'll see you next Monday with a new episode!
