Cages? Cages is in there?

GamesWatch: Neil Druckmann, writer for the Uncharted video games, has written an upcoming graphic novel for Ape Entertainment, called A Second Chance at Sarah. It's the story of a man going back in time to stop his wife doing a deal with Mephisto by becoming a teenager again. The book is drawn by Joysuke Wong. There's a preview here.

ShiftingTrendsWatchWith DC launching Earth One next year and Wildstorm moving their World of Warcraft and Starcraft comics into a line of original graphic novels, is this the start of what some have waited for a long time, the shift in periodical focus away from individual comic books into series of OGNs with the bookstore as the intended outlet? Marvel don't seem to agree, seeing this as a loss of an important revenue stream, but for books such as Wildstorm's game books which don't seem ideally suited for the direct market, this could make for a more profitable model – especially as they build on the success Gears Of War and others have found in gaming shops.

: Chicago have just realised that Marvel blew up their Soldier Field sports stadium during a Bears game, with the tens of thousands of people inside it. The Sun-Times quotes Brian Bendis as saying;

My first choice was to blow up Wrigley Field. Joe Quesada is so in love with baseball, he couldn't imagine blowing it up… I heard from numerous Chicago fans who told me they were glad I put the team out of its misery.

MovieWatch: Bryan Singer is directing X-Men: First Class, Thor movie writers Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz are adapting Damn Nation, the Dark Horse comic by Andrew Cosby and Jason Alexander, and Sam Worthington of Avatar would kill to play Captain America.
