Tuesday Trending Topics: DC, Kindle Fire, And The Digital Dilemma

Tuesday Trending Topics: DC, Kindle Fire, And The Digital DilemmaHave to admit I bought a DC graphic novel on the Kindle Fire last night as soon as I saw they were available, just to see what it was like (the Fire's Kindle app is not nearly as polished as a comic reader as Comixology is, but it's adequate and I'm sure they'll keep iterating it).  But as a longtime iPad user I have to say I've found the Fire a far more suitable comic reading device than I thought it'd be (the smaller-than-iPad size is notable, but less of an issue for comic reading than I anticipated), and with the emphasis they're giving to comics, and the price point, I can see this device (and competing devices like the Nook) advancing the popularity of digital comics in a substantial way over the next few months.  One of the big questions lots of comics readers are going to be asking in the coming weeks is which device do you choose?
