Wednesday Trending Topics: Wonder Woman Without Pants
It's been a banner year for discussion about Wonder Woman's pants. First there was intense discussion and fan photoshopping over how they should look in reaction to the photo of Adrianne Palicki in costume. Then there was that twitpic photo of Palicki in the booty-shorts version of costume which set off a whole new round of discussion. Then came DC relaunch, and the controversy over whether there was a pants policy for female characters.
Now there's the removal of Wonder Woman's pants on artwork that previously showed her wearing pants.
If someone hasn't started a tumblr about Wonder Woman's pants yet, that's a missed opportunity for sure.

It was the realisation a could of months ago that War Of The Green Lanterns was less about plot, character and dialogue, but pretty pictures – and how that wasn't a bad thing – that mad me warm much more to Green Lantern or late. I was able to treat it in the manner of Lord Of The Rings, Alice In Wonderland and Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy – in the way that those books concentrate on words, cadence and language, while everything else is secondary, so War Of The Green Lanterns is about colour and light, and the plot is an excuse to get different bright beams or dark pools to twist around each other, through each other, and mix. It's a firework display, it's a light show and the reader is left to "ooh" and "aah" as it reaches its final conclusion.

The new October solicitations being dribbed and drabbed out through DC's Source and friendly websites. And everything is looking pretty shipshape, exposed genitalia aside.
