Red Wing – The Digital Comic That Wasn't

Red Wing – The Digital Comic That Wasn'tEarlier today, digital comic book readers were pleased to discover that The Red Wing by Jonathan Hickman and Nick Pitarra was available through comiXology for a cool $1.99 when it was only on sale in print a couple of weeks ago for $2.99, and they filled their boots.

Some were a little annoyed however that they paid in print and could have waited a couple of weeks for digital.

But it wasn't available for long. Turned out it was a mistake on comiXology's Image's part and the book was soon withdrawn from digital sale.

There won't be any 1984-style withdrawals of content though. If you got it, you got it. Boast to your friends. It ain't coming any other way soon.
