Riccardo Federici Draws The Evil Batmen Of Metal For DC Comics Promotional Items
As Bleeding Cool told you at the weekend, DC Comics is supporting the release of Dark Nights: Metal with a Crisis bacon buffet.
Sorry, no, that was from the DC Comics Metal party. Trying again. As Bleeding Cool told you at the weekend, DC Comics is supporting the release of Dark Nights: Metal with a new open/closed sign for stores and a new counter mat.
DARK NIGHTS: METAL OPEN CLOSED STORE SIGN sign measures 9.5" high by 14" wide. It features the promotional Batman art by Greg Capullo on the open side and the new image of the Evil Batmen by Riccardo Federici on the closed side.
While DARK NIGHTS: METAL COUNTER MAT features just the new image of the Evil Batmen by Riccardo Federici.
These free items are both scheduled to arrive in stores on August 16th, the day of the comic book's release. And since they are letting stores sell the comic at midnight, they could put the signs up in the opening event. So it would be there when you left the store – but not when you came in!
Spooky. Each retailer gets one, so don't try it on, you won't get anywhere… Oh and that Evil Batmen image by Riccardo Federici is being cut up for social media banners as well…
