Stanley 'Artgerm' Lau Joins Shaggy God Meme Creators
In the animated movie Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur, the hypnotised Shaggy beats up an entire biker gang. In 2017, this clip had the Ultra Instinct music from Dragon Ball Super added to it on YouTube. And the idea of Shaggy being an all-powerful god emerged. Last year, he was seen in memes taking down Thanos.
And then a few days ago, Matthew Lillard, who plays Shaggy in the live-action movies and voices him in the cartoons, took that attention to a mainstream level, linking to a dedicated subReddit.
And it was on – even if it was confusing to some.
And even Stanley 'Artgerm' Lau got in on the act, courtesy of his Discord art community.
