It was famously one shot which killed the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, that set of a whole raft of actions that led to World War I, killing millions.

We know that today's Avengers: X-Sanction is due to kick off Avengers Vs X-Men or A Vs X or #AVS (get your initial branding consistent there, Marvel). And we also get an idea why, what with Cable doing his best impersonation of Mr Fantastic. Though I'm not going to spoil that cliffhanger obviously. I'm just going to give you this little teaser…

And, it seems, in the light of the end of Fear Itself, Captain America seems a little trigger happy. See? Who said Fear Itself changed nothing…
