Female lead comics are still in the minority on shop shelves, but here is one based on a pair of strong-willed women called Blood & Roses from Afternburn. Blood & Roses: Paradox Wars #1 is by Robert W. Hickey, Brad Gorby, Bill Nichols and Jerry Foley and takes the characters of Tam Rose and Christiana Blood across different eras to collect shards of the Time-Stone and restore balance to the time-stream before other nefarious players can get the powerful shards for their own fiendish purposes.

BLOOD & ROSES: PARADOX WARS #1 is a full color, 54 pages, perfect binding comic size, limited collection series available in Previews. And below is a six-page preview:
