Titan's Doctor Who Comics Will Be Available, Officially In The UK After All. Gallifrey Stands!

Bleeding Cool were the folks who first let you know that Titan Comics was to get the Doctor Who comics license from BBC Worldwide.

We then had to, sadly, let you know that, like the previous license holder IDW, they would not be available for sale in British comic stores. Panini hold the UK licence for comic stories that appeared in Doctor Who Magazine, and then sometimes collected, and they weren't going to budge.

Well now we can, happily, let you know that a deal has been done. The Tenth Doctor and Eleventh Doctor comics, published by a British publisher with British creators can now be officially distributed and sold in Britain in comic stores.

The first issues of both series will be on sale in stores at the end of July but retailers need to get their orders for the first three solicited issues in by the 20th June.
