Transformers Take On The Isle Of Wight

See, other comic book conventions who are not NYCC? This is how you do it. You wait until New York Comic Con is over and then you send your press releases out.

And this is why we are more than happy to say that Transformers artist Geoff Senior has created a new print featuring Transformers characters Megatron and Grimlock set against the famous 'Needles' lighthouse, to commemorate Island-Con taking place on the Isle of Wight this October.

Geoff Senior, whose work was synonymous with the UK Transformers and Action Force comics of the 80s, also created Dragons Claws with writer Simon Furman and more recently the creator-owned project To The Death, again with Furman.

Along with Geoff Senior, Island-Con is excited to welcome fellow Marvel creators Simon Furman, Martin Griffiths and Andrew Wildman to the event taking place at Cowes Enterprise College on October 20th and 21st.

Other Island-Con guests include Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa (The Man In The High Castle), former Doctor Who stars Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann, Scream Queen Valerie Leon and many more.

Island-Con tickets can be purchased here.
