Vampirella Gets A Fried Pie Look, Thanks To Books-A-Million And Jenny Frison
Yesterday we mentioned that ex-Marvel and DC senior editor Matt Idelson had joined Dynamite in an editorial role. Dynamite seem to have had a habit of hiring staff who didn't make the move west, indeed they seem to currently make a majority of employees at the New Jersey publisher. That kind of appointment can't help but draw attention to the publisher, with James Bond, Brickleberry, Bob's Burgers and Grumpy Cat comics joining the likes of Devolution and Uncanny.
And two of their titles have just been lined up for Fried Pie variants available through Books-A-Million outlets.
Vampirella #1 by Kate Leth and Eman Casallos, with the Fried Pie cover above by Jenny Frison, with the new-look Vampirella redesigned by Nicola Scott. It is limited to 2000 copies
And Army Of Darkness: Furious Road #1 by Dennis Calero with his Fried Pie cover limited to 1500 copies.
