What Does Heroes In Crisis #2 Preview Mean For Death of Poison Ivy Theory?

We have been told that an upcoming issue of Heroes In Crisis will feature a trauma cover featuring Harley Quinn. The Superman cover has his death at the hands of Doomsday, Batman has his back being broken by Bane, that kind of thing. The nature of that cover has been keep a secret, the presumption is that this will be a spoiler for events in Heroes In Crisis.

Some believe that this indicates that Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn's girlfriend, will meet a very sticky end indeed.

But there is a get out clause for those who seek to cling to it. Does Poison Ivy appears for a brief panel as an ancillary character in Doomsday Clock? This is meant to be set in the very near future of the DC Comics universe.

Is that proof that she survives? Given that no one else in the DC Universe seems to care that Wally Wests died, did he survove somehow and is Poison Ivy the bait-and-switch big death to accompany Roy Harper?

I don't know. Penguin is meant to be missing an eye after almost being killed by Jason Todd, Red Hood, and yet in Heroes In Crisis #2 his eye seems to be back… so who knows what continuities are in play right now? And note that Harley comes looking for the Penguin for help, rather than Poison Ivy…
