Whose Trademarks Are DC Comics Opposing Now? Cannabis Oil, Legal Advice and Nail Treatments

We recently ran a piece looking at which companies' registered trademarks DC Comics' lawyers were challenging. To do so, we had to trawl through many months worth of such applictaions, oppositions and requested extensions.

Well, it appears that DC lawyers have been busy. Because in the few short weeks since that article, there have been as many challenges as were in the few months before that.

Here are the new challenges from DC Comics going through the system.

Signature Nail Systems of Florida for registering SNS SHAZAM for non-medicated nail care preparations. Shazam is DC Comics' new name for Captain Marvel and they have a movie coming out.
Lojco of Turner Oregon for registering Cannashield CBD Super Charged Oil for herbal tinctures for medical purposes containing CBD derived solely from the mature stalks and sterilized seeds of the industrial hemp plant; Suppositories containing CBD derived solely from the mature stalks and sterilized seeds of the industrial hemp plant. The challenge will be due to the shield shape resembling that of Superman, and using the word 'Super' inside it.
Wade Earl of Tacoma, Washington for registering I Am Blacknificent B for bottoms as clothing; Footwear; Headwear; T-shirts; Tops as clothing; Undergarments
Lawyers going up against actual, lawyers, for Michael J Daugherty of Atlanta, Georgia for registering Justice Society for providing public policy information in the field of Administrative and Regulatory Law. It'll be the Superman shape shield with a B in it.
