Will You Be Able To Find A Copy Of Batman #40?

We mentioned the other day that DC Comics were preparing for retailers to be able to order a second print for Batman #40, though it wasn't announced yet. You can see the listing right here.

(Oh and the mysteriously alluded to reprint issue of Batgirl #35, Gotham Academy #1 and Grayson #1 will be called Young Gotham Sampler.)

Well, I understand that this week's Batman #40 will be getting a lot of media attention. We've told you the reasons why here, based on this upcoming weekend's Batman story in the Free Comic Book Day title from Divergence #1 – Batman #40 will dovetail directly into this comic.

Because in Divergence #1 you learn the what. And in Batman #40, you learn the how. The final issue of Endgame and the final confrontation between Batman and The Joker.

Thankfully this is a Joker without tattoos.

There will be lots of Batman #40s ordered by stores, but checking round there is not enough for a media fuelled explosion of demand. So if you would like a copy, may I recommend you address this with your comic store today? Before they start getting calls from people who read it in USA Today or whatever.
