From Witches To Dragons: Archaia Is Releasing A New Storyteller Series
You might remember Archaia's release of Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Witches, where different myths and legends about witches were explored. Well now the publisher is about to embark on a whole new set of stories about dragons from talented creators with beautiful and unique styles. The project is entitled Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Dragons #1 (Of 4), written by Daniel Bayliss and Fabian Rangel Jr., with art by Daniel Bayliss.
The comic will focus on dragons who have taken many different shapes in cultures across the world, from serpents and "worms" to thunderbirds and the classic European firebreather. In this first issue, the creative team bring us "Son of the Serpent," inspired by Native American stories about the Horned Snake and the Thunderbird. I read Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Witches, and it was a beautifully illustrated, captivating set of comics. I'm so excited that they're continuing that tradition with this new comic. Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Dragons #1 (Of 4) will release in December.
