X-Men Gold and X-Men Blue Ending in September… Will Anyone Survive?!

Perhaps making way for that Uncanny X-Men reboot, both X-Men Gold and X-Men Blue will be ending in September, according to the Marvel solicitations. Who was it that predicted that again? Pip pip.

Both series have a "final issue variant" for their 36th issues, which is as solid a confirmation as we get these days. It looks like both series plan to wrap up with some pretty big stories. Are the original five X-Men headed back to their own time? And is Marvel teasing killing off Storm?! Are they killing off the entire X-Men Gold team (sans Kitty Pryde)? Or will all of that be undone by the end of Extermination?!

Check out the solicits below, true believers, and post your speculation and reactions in the comments!

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
