You Won't Believe These Shocking Photos of Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski from C2E2
C2E2 has been full of shocking reveals this year, including Jonathan Hickman's upcoming series of two bi-weekly six-issue X-books (equating to a 12-issue weekly X-book), but the biggest reveal of Saturday evening came not at Marvel's Next Big Thing panel, but at the Marvel fanfare that proceeded it. C.B. Cebulski is the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, the face of the company, leading the entire line of Marvel superhero magazines into the future.
But is it possible that C.B. Cebulski isn't who he says he is? Unthinkable, we know, but possibly true. Because at the Marvel fanfare panel, in what we can only assume was a major technical glitch and breach of security, an image flashed on the screen revealing that C.B. Cebulski… is a Superman fan! And a cosplayer!!!
Yes, according to this photo, not only is Cebulski a supporter of Marvel's Distinguished Competition, but he's apparently been raised this way from birth. Does this mean Cebulski actually an agent of DC, sent to Marvel to infiltrate the competition and destroy the publisher from the inside? True, there's no evidence to support this theory beyond the photograph, which, yes, technically features a baby Cebulski who probably didn't pick out that Halloween costume himself… but there's equally no evidence to disprove it.
And looking more closely at the photo only provides more questions than answers. For instance, what the heck is inside that pumpkin that causes it to weigh 1,000 pounds?! There's no other way to describe these photos of Cebulski other than absolutely scandalous! Or adorable. Maybe also adorable. But we're leaning toward scandalous ourselves.
You're welcome to try to come up with another explanation for these photos in the comments, but we can't personally see how you could possibly come up with a theory more reasonable than our own.
