'Ark Park' Teaser Trailer Revealed At Chinajoy

There are some cool little bits of news coming out of Chinajoy this weekend, which included something new from Ark Park that we didn't quite expect. If you're not familiar with it, Ark Park is a VR spin-off of ARK: Survival Evolved. Essentially, (and yes, we recognize the ripoff factor), you're looking at a VR version of Jurassic Park. Only with shields, extra guns, different creatures added to the mix, and a healthy dose of terror because you're the one experiencing it.

'Ark Park' Teaser Trailer Revealed At Chinajoy

The game is currently being developed by Snail/Peacock Studio with help from Studio Wildcard, aiming to be released later this year on PSVR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift. While the game may not have a hard date set for the release, we got something a little unexpected that could lead to hearing about a release soon: a trailer! And if you think we're kidding about it being a ripoff of Jurassic Park, just wait until you see the two stone doors open with a dinosaur logo on the front.

Honestly, the game doesn't look that bad, I'm personally intrigued to try it out. I'm just not getting too attached to it yet, since I don't think Steven Spielberg or Universal Pictures would look too kindly on the "homage."
