Bethesda Posts a Possible Fallout Teaser on Twitter
As we edge closer to E3 in a couple weeks, you're going to be seeing our reporting on a lot of teasers and other material that developers and publishers will throw out into the ether. A good example of that dropped this morning from Bethesda Softworks, who decided to throw up a message on their Twitter. As you can see by the message below, it's a gif of a test pattern (in color, no less) with the words "Please Stand By" as the only text.
Now, any fan of Bethesda and its game catalog will recognize this right off the bat as a teaser for something Fallout related. The problem with that there hasn't really been any substantial news on the Fallout series in a minute. That's most likely by design to keep people on their toes and keep any announcements secret, but what the news could actually be is up or speculation.
Social media immediately went into rumor mill mode and started guessing everything from a remastered version to a New Vegas release, even to the ridiculous of a Fallout 5 tease. Truth is, unless someone inside the company leaks some good intel, it's all guesswork until their press conference on June 10th.
