Burnout Paradise Looks Like It's Coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch
The cult favourite racing game Burnout Paradise looks like it is getting an unlikely lease of life as reference to a current gen remaster has been spotted.
Burnout Paradise is nearly a decade old now, but the game still has very vocal supporters. That enthusiasm is about to be tested it would seem as a new version of the game has been spotted at Brazilian retailers. GamePress spotted two retailer listings for the port on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. They even come with a March 1, 2018 release date. That would mark just over the decade milestone.
More than that, The Enemy (via Nintendo Everything) found a rating for a Nintendo Switch port too, so it seems that this thing is starting to make noise despite not being announced yet.
One would have to assume that if this does well, it might well convince EA to revive the series. In fact, despite the 10 year anniversary, it could be EA's reason for putting it out at all. I think there could be a future for Burnout too and I know a lot of people who would be very happy about that.
