Destiny Knights Receives a Brand 5-Star Hero with Yona
Netmarble released a brand new update this week for Destiny Knights, adding in a new 5-star hero as well as a faction boss. The new hero is Yona, who specifically wields powerful ice magic and freezes people once she enters play, while the faction boss is Wyvermensh who looks like a badass dragon not to be toyed with. Here are the finer details from the company.
The fourth Head Priestess of the Rune Brotherhood, the 5-star Hero Yona, is available now, allowing players to wield her powerful ice magic to freeze opponents. To usher in the new character's arrival, Destiny Knights has also added a new dungeon, "Yona (Paper) Descended Dungeon," with three difficulties for the dungeon available for players to clear once a day: Hell, Nightmare, and Destiny.
Two new events also begin today to celebrate Yona and her lover, Yanuk. From August 28 to September 2, the Inua Clan's Wanderer Yanuk and the Priestess of Rune Yona will be five times more likely to join your party when summoning through their special summon event. A new set of Achievement Events will also be available through September 11, giving players new ways to gain even more special rewards such as 7000 Ruby, 500,000 Gold, and 250 Keys.
Finally, to add an epic all-new challenge for players, the newest Faction Boss, Wyvermensh, will also be available for players to challenge beginning September 3.
