Fantasy Flight Games is Bringing About the "Collapse of the Republic"
Fantasy Flight Games is releasing a new source book for their Star Wars role-playing game, and this one is certain to be a hit for Clone Wars fans! Get ready for "Collapse of the Republic":
Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce the Collapse of the Republicsourcebook for Star Wars Roleplaying! Collapse of the Republic explores the latter days of the Clone Wars, following on the events described in Rise of the Separatists, and is fully compatible with the complete Star Wars Roleplaying game lines including Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, and Force and Destiny.
"Collapse of the Republic" will also give players the tools they need to play members of the Death Watch, or even a Night Sister of Dathomir!
Although humans and Zabrak have been born, lived, and died on Dathomir, the truly unique Dathomirians are near-humans who practice a strange blend of magicks and alchemy. Generations of genetic drift and exposure to the planet's power from the dark side of the Force have created a distinct people and culture focused on self-determination, strength, and discipline.
Players who choose to play as Clone Troopers will find new specializations, and will be able to play as ARC Troopers, Clone Commanders, or Clone Veterans. I can see some seriously cool clone-centric games coming out of this!
"Collapse of the Republic" will also feature new races, NPCs, and weapon options, as well as detailed information on planets and locations vital to the latter period of the Clone Wars. Anakin Skywalker is one of the NPCs that is confirmed to have game stats included in the book!
There will also be quite a bit of information regarding the fall of the Republic towards the end of the war, and how the galaxy transitioned to rule under the Galactic Empire of Palpatine.
While Fantasy Flight Games hasn't yet shared a release date for "Collapse of the Republic", you can order it from your local game store now!
