"Granblue Fantasy: Versus" Will be Available for Demos at EVO 2019

XSEED Games will be hosting the first playable demo of Granblue Fantasy: Versus outside of Japan at EVO 2019 this year. The game will also get a live exhibition with eSports team Cygames Beast. The team's full roster will be at EVO this year, including their leader Diago "The Beast" Umehara, PR Balrog, GamerBee, Fuudo, and their newest member Infexious. Cygames Beast will also be hosting meet and greets and raffles for fans to win some team merch.

The EVO demo will feature Granblue's Percival as well as several mini-tournaments during the show. So fans of the series can behold the power of the Lord of Flames and take him for a test drive against other fans. For those new to the series, Percival's backstory reads: "This noble warrior has traveled far and wide to learn the secrets of statecraft, all in hopes of founding his dream country. Before setting out on his journey to achieve such lofty goals, he and Lancelot served as officers in the same knightly order, studying under the same master. He received his nickname, the Lord of Flames, from the noble way he wields his blazing longsword. Those who come face-to-face with him find themselves either entranced or terrified by his dazzling abilities."
