Is There A Fake Chris Redfield In 'Resident Evil 7'?

Is Capcom messing with fans, or is this part of the real story happening in Resident Evil 7? You get to make that judgment call yourself as the company released this new trailer over the holiday weekend for the "Not A Hero" DLC, showing off a staffer talking about Redfield as if he wasn't supposed to be there, or that he may not be the real Chris Redfield at all. Pay close attention to how the staffer talks about Chris, as if Chris isn't the Chris we already know.
