Kirby: Star Allies Is Looking To Get A Demo In Early March
It appears that Kirby: Star Allies will be getting a demo version released for the Nintendo Switch, much the same way Nintendo have done demos over the past year for Splatoon 2 and Arms. The news comes to us from GoNintendo, who spotted a Google Ad promoting a demo being released on March 4th, which means if it is true, we'll be seeing a demo version of the game announced sometime this week and released next Sunday.
As it was pointed out by GoNintendo, the company usually doesn't do demos of what it would consider higher-end titles. We never saw a demo for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild or Super Mario Odyssey, and Kirby is one of Nintendo's flagship characters that they've protected for 25 years now. It should also be taken into consideration that the demos we have received or other Nintendo games were released weeks and even months in advance of the primary game being launched, whereas Kirby: Star Allies is set for release on March 16th, less than three weeks away from this news. If they are doing a demo, the timing is awkward and suspect. We'll see if Nintendo releases any official news this week to confirm it.
