Nintendo Posts A Brand New Video For Super Nintendo World
We're still a few years away from anything being completed in Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan, but that's not stopping Nintendo from showing us what they envision it to look like. Below is a video that Nintendo loaded up yesterday as an advertisement in Japan for a theme park that isn't even built.
Now don't get us wrong, we're completely on board with seeing this park be finished, and chances are most of us who write for the gaming section are contemplating a trip to Tokyo this fall after the Olympics have come and gone. But if you look at the video you'll see it just matches the art from last December, so really all you're seeing is a 3D model of something that's already been advertized and there's no way Nintendo can 100% promise us that this is what the park will look like come 2020.
It's still a cool video to look at and shows promise that Nintendo wants to keep their ideas true and make them become a reality. It's just awkward watching an ad for a park that's clearly done on a green screen with people who have zero clue what they're looking at. But hey, we made three Star Wars movies like that, so to each their own.
