"Pokémon Sword & Shield"May Have An Auto-Save Feature

Fans are apparently freaking out for various reason that Pokémon Sword and Shield may include an auto-save feature for the first time. Those who caught the trailer for the game during the Nintendo Direct feature caught a glimpse of a the words "Now Saving" appearing in the top right corner of the game when the trainer enters a shop. That got a lot of people speculating that the game will now auto-save when you do certain things and take care of specific tasks. However, it's got a lot of fans freaked out as the addition of such a thing would most likely disrupt the way players tackle the game.

Usually, when you play any of the Pokémon titles, saving is up to you, much like most RPG games. This is done because sometimes you make poor decisions and would love to turn back time. And you can, simply by restarting the game from your last save point. What has people concerned is that because the series has an in-depth system when it comes to training and leveling up and making decisions when entering long battles, having an auto-save may lock you into situations you wish you weren't a part of. What do you think about the auto-save feature coming to Pokémon Sword and Shield? Is it a benefit for the game, or a new problem you now need to work around?
