PUBG Creator Speaks About Apex Legends' Recent Achievement

It isn't too often you see two entities in the same genre pay respect to each other, but that's what we got this week between PUBG and Apex Legends. After Respawn Entertainment shared the good news of hitting one million players within the first eight hours of the game, PUBG creator Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene sent a message their way showing a sign of respect for what they accomplished as a fellow battle royale game. Not too long after, the company responded on their game's official channel with some mutual respect.

Usually, when two games are going after the same audience, there's rarely any pleasantries shown between parties. I mean, how often do you see H1Z1PUBG, and Fortnite interact with each other? But this is kind of a cool moment you'll rarely see between companies and people in charge. Cherish it like a solar eclipse!
